November 23: Arrival in Marrakech during the day: Hotel and evening meal provided. Retreat opening ceremony
Welcome evening meal
24/11: Marrakech – Atlas – Kasbah Aït-Ben-Haddou – M’Hamid El Ghizlane
Departure from Marrakech early in the morning. The journey to M'Hamid El Ghizlane is by taxi or minibus, depending on the number of passengers.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains and discover Berber villages. You cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass ("Pass of the Pastures") at an altitude of 2,260 m. You discover the ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this fortified village with ochre walls is highly representative of the architecture of southern Morocco. It is also famous for the numerous films that have been shot there.
The journey then continues through the Draa Valley, lined with palm trees.

Arrive in M'Hamid El Ghizlane in the evening. At the end of the village, the road ends. You're ready to enter the vastness of the Sahara!
Dinner and first night in a comfortable permanent bivouac.

25/11: M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Sidi Naji
Lever: Practical
The nomadic team welcomes you to the permanent bivouac. The caravan sets off at the rhythm of the camels. You begin by crossing the palm grove of M'hamid El Ghizlane. Tea and lunch are served in the shade of the tamarisk trees. A short rest, and the trek continues to the dunes near the sanctuary of the marabout Sidi Naji.
Afternoon: Practical
The bivouac is set up between the dunes. All that's left is for you to admire your first desert sunset before plunging your eyes into the immensity of the Milky Way.
The night begins around the fire with a succulent meal and the traditional sand bread prepared by the nomads.
Enjoy the music, songs and dances of the “Blue Men”.
26/11: Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar
Lever: Practical
Break camp and head for the great dunes of Erg Zahar, called "howling dunes" because the strong wind makes the sand grains sing. The largest of them reaches 150 meters. Prepare to discover a lunar setting of breathtaking beauty!

Settled for the night in this majestic and magical nature, you will be able to contemplate your second sunset.
27/11: Erg Zahar – Lhdibat – Kraat Jamal
Lever: Practical
This morning, the caravan crosses Lhdibat, a rocky area, to reach Kraat Jamal. Numerous tamarisk trees cover this part of the desert. Lunch is taken in the Draa Valley. The camp is set up in a place where dromedaries roam freely.

28/11: Kraat Jamal – M’Hamid El Ghizlane
Lever: Practical
Return to M'Hamid El Ghizlane. Stop for the night at a comfortable permanent camp where you can shower, have a meal, and spend the night in a comfortable bed.

29/11: M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Marrakech
Getting up: last morning practice
It's time to hit the road back to Marrakech. Enjoy the magnificent scenery once again offered by the crossing of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
Overnight stay at the hotel + evening meal included
Price per person for 6 days: €888
This price includes :
- 2 nights in Marrakech: one before leaving for the desert (23/11) and the other after (29/11)
- The 2 evening meals on 11/23 and 11/29 as well as the lunch meals during the journey on 11/24 and 11/29
- The entire stay in the desert: meals, support from the Nomades team, treks, and round-trip travel by minibus.
This price does not include:
- plane tickets
- the journey from the airport to the Medina (central square of Marrakech, where the hotel is located)
- assistance/repatriation insurance
- the tip for nomads.
