- Lightweight shirts and long-sleeved cotton t-shirts
- Lightweight hiking pants
- Fleece jacket or down jacket for morning and evening (from the end of November to March)

Shoes
- For walking, sandals with socks are ideal because they don't trap sand.
- A pair of sneakers or low-cut hiking shoes that you feel comfortable in.
Sleeping bag
It must be adapted to the seasons:
- October, March and April : 10 to 15°
- November and February : 5 to 10°
- December and January : 0 to 5°
For people who are very sensitive to the cold, a meat bag can be useful.
For the toilet
- A small bath towel
- Possibly a washcloth for the night in a fixed camp and/or riad
- Disposable wet wipes or washcloths for washing in the desert
- Possibly a horsehair glove
- Shower gel and shampoo in small quantities for the nights before and after the desert
- Moisturizing cream
- Lip balm
For natural needs
- Toilet paper
- Paper bags for storing toilet paper after use

- Optionally, swimming, skiing, or motorcycling goggles to protect sensitive eyes in case of a sandstorm.
- A waterproof pouch for carrying important documents and equipment that needs protection from sand.
- Paper tissues
- A plastic bag or a pillowcase to put the dirty laundry in.
- An external battery (power bank) to charge the mobile phone, 20,000 mAh is ideal
- A mat for yoga and/or Pilates
- A pair of scissors
- A pillow
- Possibly a mosquito net for the flies.
