4-day program by car

1^er day: Marrakech – High Atlas – Tisselday

Departure from Marrakech and crossing the High Atlas Mountains, Berber villages and the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m).

Lunch in Tisselday at the Irocha guesthouse.

Accompanied by a local guide, you can enjoy a 2-hour hike in the surrounding mountains and valleys while gazing at the High Atlas Mountains.

You will spend the night in Tisselday.

2^th day: Tisselday – Aït-Ben-Haddou – Zagora – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Early morning departure by 4X4 from the Irocha guesthouse and head to Aït Benhaddou. This ancient city is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortified village with its ochre walls is a fine example of southern Moroccan architecture. It is also famous for the many films that have been filmed there.

Lunch at Kasbah Tamnougalte.

After lunch, the journey continues through the Draa Valley towards Zagora.

Visit the underground Kasbah and the Koranic library in Tamegroute.

Overnight at Peace Adventures Desert Camp in Mhamid El Ghizlane.

3^th day: M'Hamid El Ghizlane – Sacred Oasis – Erg Chegaga

The journey continues through the magnificent desert landscapes to a sacred oasis where you will have lunch. This oasis consists of a small group of palm trees where there is water all year round.

In the afternoon, we head to the famous dunes of Erg Chegaga. You can watch the sunset during a 2-hour guided camel ride.

Dinner and entertainment at the camp.

Overnight at Adventures Desert Camp in Erg Chegaga.

4^th day: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Marrakech

Camel ride for about 2 hours.

Your adventure continues by taking part of the old Paris-Dakar road via the dried-up Lake Iriki towards Foum Zguid.

Lunch will be served in the Berber village of Taznakht, which specializes in weaving Berber carpets.

Return to Marrakech.
