Price: €450

This price includes: round-trip transport between Marrakech (or Ouarzazate) and the desert, the stay in the desert, the nights, the meals, the supervision by the Nomades team, the trek.
This price does not include plane tickets, any overnight stays in Marrakech or Ouarzazate, or tips for nomads.

Intermediate level

This trip is accessible to many people, including families and children. It will introduce you to the many facets and landscapes of the desert, in addition to the culture and traditions of the nomads.

1er day: Marrakech – Atlas – Kasbah Aït-Ben-Haddou – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Departure from Marrakech early in the morning. The journey to M'Hamid El Ghizlane is by taxi or minibus, depending on the number of passengers.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains and discover Berber villages. You cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass ("Pass of the Pastures") at an altitude of 2,260 m. You discover the ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this fortified village with ochre walls is highly representative of the architecture of southern Morocco. Many films have been shot there, adding to its fame.

The journey then continues through the Draa Valley, lined with palm trees.

Arrive in M'Hamid El Ghizlane in the evening. At the end of the village, the road ends. You're ready to enter the vastness of the Sahara!

Dinner and first night in a comfortable permanent bivouac.

2th day: M'Hamid – Ras Nkhal – Douib dunes

The nomadic team comes to welcome you at the permanent bivouac. The caravan sets off at the rhythm of the dromedaries. After crossing the palm grove of M'Hamid El Ghizlane, we head towards the place called "Ras Nkhal." Tea and lunch are served there in the shade of the tamarisk trees.

After a short rest, the trek continues toward the captivating Douib dunes. The nomadic team sets up camp, lights the fire, and prepares your meal.

All that's left is to admire your first sunset in the desert before plunging your eyes into the immensity of the Milky Way.

3th day: Douib dunes – Oued Naam – Bertham dunes

Once camp is broken, we head towards the stone desert, Oued Naam.

After lunch and a short rest, we walk to the magnificent Bertham Dunes where camp is set up for another night under the starry desert sky.

4th day: Bertham dunes – Mezouaria – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

For this last day of hiking, we cross a desert landscape before arriving at the small dunes of Mezouaria.

In the afternoon, we return to M'Hamid El Ghizlane. The permanent bivouac will welcome you for a well-deserved shower, a delicious meal, and a night in a cozy bed.

5th day: M'Hamid El Ghizlane – Marrakech

It's time to hit the road back to Marrakech. Enjoy the magnificent scenery once again as you cross the High Atlas Mountains.
