This price includes: round-trip transport between Marrakech (or Ouarzazate) and the desert, the stay in the desert, the nights, the meals, the supervision by the Nomades team, the trek.
This price does not include plane tickets, any overnight stays in Marrakech or Ouarzazate, or tips for nomads.

Intermediate level

This longer immersion will give you a full taste of desert life in the company of nomads and dromedaries. An unforgettable experience during which you will be able to contemplate the diverse landscapes characteristic of the desert. This trek is suitable for families and children. The nomads will attentively cook delicious meals and share their music, songs, and dances with you.

1^er day: Marrakech – Atlas – Kasbah Aït-Ben-Haddou – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Departure from Marrakech early in the morning. The journey to M'Hamid El Ghizlane is by taxi or minibus, depending on the number of passengers.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains and discover Berber villages. You cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass ("Pass of the Pastures") at an altitude of 2,260 m. You discover the ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this fortified village with ochre walls is highly representative of the architecture of southern Morocco. Many films have been shot there, adding to its fame.

The journey then continues through the Draa Valley, lined with palm trees.

Arrive in M'Hamid El Ghizlane in the evening. At the end of the village, the road ends. You're ready to enter the vastness of the Sahara!

Dinner and first night in a comfortable permanent bivouac.

2^th day: M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Sidi Naji

The nomadic team welcomes you to the permanent bivouac. The caravan sets off at the rhythm of the camels. You begin by crossing the palm grove of M'hamid El Ghizlane. Tea and lunch are served in the shade of the tamarisk trees. A short rest, and the trek continues to the dunes near the sanctuary of the marabout Sidi Naji.

The bivouac is set up between the dunes. All that's left is for you to admire your first desert sunset before plunging your eyes into the immensity of the Milky Way.

The night begins around the fire with a succulent meal and the traditional sand bread prepared by the nomads.

Enjoy the music, songs and dances of the “ Blue Men ".

3^th day: Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar

Break camp and head for the great dunes of Erg Zahar, called "howling dunes" because the strong wind makes the grains of sand sing. The largest of them rises to 150 meters. Prepare to discover a lunar setting of breathtaking beauty! Settling in for the night in this majestic and magical natural setting, you will be able to contemplate a new and unique sunset.

4^th day: Erg Zahar – Lhdibat

After breakfast, the caravan continues its journey. Heading for Lhdibat, a place strewn with stones. A stop at a well to water the camels is made. We pass through places rich in history where nomadic families once lived.

5^th day: Lhdibat – Lbour

Once the nomads have loaded the camels, a new stage takes you to Lbour. There you will see an old farm where the locals once grew wheat. Prepare to spend the night under the tall tamarisk trees.

6^th day: Lbour – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Return to M'Hamid El Ghizlane. Stop for the night at a comfortable permanent camp where you can shower, have a meal, and spend the night in a comfortable bed.

7^th day: M'Hamid El Ghizlane – Marrakech

Now it's time to hit the road back to Marrakech. Enjoy the magnificent scenery once again offered by the crossing of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
